Academic Calendar

1) Each class and program at Ruseto College is based on twenty weeks per semester, and two semesters a year. Also there are some classes offered during the Summer Semester (eight weeks), especially the Optional Courses.

2) Enrollment periods: We encourage you to register early because enrollment is limited in some courses, but correspondence study courses have no enrollment limits.

3) The School offers three programs as listed in this website, and all the courses are open to whoever is qualified to enroll.

4) The registration, orientation and first day of classes are listed below.

Spring Semester: January 3rd to May 25th
Summer Semester: June 1st to July 31st
Fall Semester: August 1st to Dec 23rd

Holidays: Martin Luther King’s Day & Thanksgiving Day

Special arrangements will be made with each class for making up holiday time.

Class Schedules

1) Program I (Traditional Chinese Massage, 1-year, 2-semester, 720-hour & 48-credit) and Program II (Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine, 3-year, 6-semester; 2,160-hour & 144-credit) are residential programs. Students should plan for an additional 12 hours per week for study and practice outside the classroom.

2) Program III (Revolutionary Healthcare, 1-year, 2-semester, 960-hour & 52-credit) is a correspondence program. Each semester the students not only have to complete their monthly assignments at home, but also have to attend the school in person for eighty hours of intensive studies.
